Got questions about our program? Your local Math Tuition Center is just a call or message away. In the meantime, here are some of the questions we hear most often.

Math Tuition Center offers exceptional value by delivering a high-quality learning experience within a cost-effective framework.

Our programme operates on a flat enrolment fee, and students participate regularly—similar to a gym membership model. We recommend attending 2 to 3 sessions per week, as less frequent visits may hinder progress, while too many sessions could lead to burnout. Pricing differs based on programme type and location. For specific enrolment options, please reach out to your local center.

Unlike private tutors, our structured curriculum and teaching approach have been validated by the success of hundreds of thousands of students worldwide.

While tutors often take a reactive approach, Maths Tuition Center is proactive—we systematically and thoroughly develop each student’s mathematical foundation. Supported by the training and resources of a global network, our instructors deliver a proven methodology that often comes at a more affordable cost.

Unlike traditional math classes, Math Tuition Center focuses on each individual student. Every child begins with a detailed assessment that identifies their unique strengths and areas for improvement. Based on this, we create a personalised learning plan tailored to their specific goals. Our experienced instructors then deliver face-to-face guidance at a pace that suits each student’s learning needs.

Both. Whether your child is struggling, excelling, or just cruising along—we’ve got them covered. At Maths Tuition Center, we help students who are behind catch up and get ahead with targeted support. If your child already shines in maths, we’ll keep them challenged and growing. And if they’re doing “just fine” but you know they could thrive, we’ll motivate and push them to aim higher and achieve more.

We work with children in grades K-10.

Children who consistently attend our learning centres enjoy a transformative learning experience and make huge strides in the classroom. Multiple independent studies have found Maths Tution Center to improve student performance on standards-based tests in 20 sessions or fewer.

We recommend 2-3 times a week until learning goals are met and parents are satisfied with what their child has accomplished.

We have Maths Learning Centres in NSW, ACT & QLD with centres soon to be opening in VIC. If you don’t see a centre near you, good news! We are happy to support your child through our Maths Tution Center@Home program. Get in touch with us, today!

We realise that with busy family schedules it can be hard getting your child to the centre twice a week. That’s why we offer flexible scheduling as well as our online option—MathsTutionCenter@home—to make it easier to attend weekly sessions. If your child is still unable to attend, they won’t miss anything because we work at their pace and will simply meet them where they are at their next session.

The Maths Tution Center Method™ uses a combination of techniques to build maths knowledge upon what students already know, so they’re able to retain what they learn and gain confidence along the way.

No. All learning occurs under the efficient and effective guidance of our trained instructors. Adding homework would risk frustration and overload. In fact, we’ll set aside some time each session to help your student with their school homework.

At Math Tution Center, we understand that assessments can sometimes feel stressful for students. That’s why we take a personalised and engaging approach to each assessment. We start by building rapport with your child, giving them a short centre tour, and setting expectations.

We conduct both a verbal and written assessment to identify your child’s strengths and areas for improvement as well as to gain a true understanding of how each student approaches and thinks about maths. More importantly, our assessments don’t feel like a test – we use interactive methods to ensure your child feels comfortable and confident.

We carefully craft our assessment questions to evaluate specific skills that are critical for success in maths. Our assessments cover a wide range of maths skills and concepts, including year group or subject-specific skills, number sense, and concepts unique to Maths Tution Center.

We use a combination of verbal and written questions, and it’s possible that some of the questions may cover topics your child hasn’t yet learned in school. Our goal is to get a comprehensive understanding of your child’s current maths abilities, so we can create a personalised learning plan that meets their unique needs and goals.
